The apartment over the garage is conveniently located just off the Jemez Mountain Trail National Scenic Byway, where you can enjoy the many outside adventures that await you in this beautiful area. The 300 square foot apartment is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and friendly furry friends. The decor is simple, modern, and clean. Comfortably fits two adults and a young child.
The apartment is built above our garage with its own private entrance, as pictured in one of the photos. Inside you’ll find a cozy queen size bed in the modest bedroom, with a lamp for reading. A ¾ bath with a shower is connected to the bedroom.
The kitchen area contains a full size refrigerator and oven equipped with all the cookware necessary to cook a homemade meal. The cabinets are filled with drinking glasses, plates, bowls and utensils.
The coffee bar is always fully stocked with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cider.
In the living area sits a small loveseat and chair for lounging. The love seat pulls out to make a twin sized bed. There are heaters throughout the space.
Wifi is provided as well as a cell phone booster. Verizon customers should have service if the internet and electricity is operational. Because we are in a rural area, power and phone service can go down from time to time. Our guys at Jemez Mountain Electric and Windstream will work around the clock in all elements to get their services up and running, but before you book, know that it’s always a possibility that this can happen.
A Netflix account is available on the TV, but we currently do not have any local TV stations. Not handicap accessible

Guests have access to the shared property. There is a Barbeque for outdoor grilling. Take one of our bikes on a ride in the mountains or kayaks to nearby Fenton Lake. We also have fishing poles to go fishing in the nearby stream, and are in close distance to Amanda’s Country Store where you can pick up a fishing license and fishing supplies. We are also next door to Hidden Valley Sporting Goods where you will find an assortment of camping and fishing gear.

We are happy to interact with guests who want to interact, but are also happy to accommodate those who prefer not to interact. We live in the main house attached to the apartment with 4 kids, two dogs, and a cat. We may bump into you in the shared driveway, but we do not wish to invade your privacy.
Our cell phone service is spotty in the area, but we can usually be reached by phone or text message.

We have two very friendly dogs and a cat that will not be in your apartment at any time, but you may see them on the shared property.
