Just in response to this particular statement. I would like to state that we always jump on guest’s needs to keep them as comfortable as we possibly can and that we had tried to call Osama a few times on his first night, leaving messages as well as additional numbers to reach us on. My business partner received a call on his phone the very next day if this needs to be proven.
Our concierge, Dilshad promptly went around to the apartment to provide not one but two brand new heaters, specifically to keep the family warm. The A/C we discovered needed servicing which was tended to on the very next business day as this happened on the weekend.
I would like to also state that the apartment has not had anything changed since listing on Airbnb apart from the linen which is actually better quality linen(hotel standard). The guest seemed to think that everything was different but I can guarantee that no piece of furniture or accessory has been altered. The guest complained of the size even though it is listed as having only one bathroom and two bedrooms. I would imagine that at the time of booking if there was a requirement of room size then this should probably be questioned before making the booking but over the last 18 months we have never had complaints about the size of the apartment. Pricing in the short term rental marketplace such as Airbnb will always be higher than a long term standard rental agreement, this advice was not intended to offend, but to enlighten.
I do notice, however that this particular guest did not have any reviews previously whatsoever and maybe we were a little hasty as well as kind in giving him his first. I would think very seriously about recommending this guest in the future.
