Corinna's glasshouse is a brand new architecturally designed garden residence, maximising passive solar gain, built in 2017. The price includes a breakfast of a choice of cereals, crumpets, or fruit toast, juice, milk, fruit or eggs etc. I live with my family in Corinna, the Victorian heritage listed house adjacent and we know the area well. Corinna's glasshouse in the heritage tree lined Stoke Street is supremely sunny and light filled for Hobart's climate.
Corinna's glasshouse is north facing and everything is brand new, contemporary and finished to a high standard, with double glazing and a polished concrete floor to act as a heat bank. As such everything is exceptionally clean and tidy. For additional warmth there is a reverse cycle heat pump and a wood box for guests. 2 sets of double bi-fold doors open onto a deck for cross ventilation in summer. There are stairs leading to a bedroom loft, with both carpeted and hard areas which requires supervision of small children and people with limited mobility. Two queen size bedrooms and bathroom are on the ground level. We have several seasonal fruit trees including apricot, apple, walnut, cherry, oranges and grapefuit as well as olive trees. A maturing vegetable garden is also available for visitor use.
Tilgang for gjester
Guests use the 2 car left hand side driveway (unit 2 at 21 Stoke St) to access the glasshouse using a private garden laneway. An intercom security gate leads to the property. Guests can choose self check-in or usually I am available to meet and greet and offer breakfast or groceries.
Andre ting å merke seg
There are oak stairs in the glasshouse leading to the upstairs bedroom and small children need to be supervised. If liquid is spilled on the polished floor it should be dried immediately for safety. The toilet seats are soft closing and need not be forced. A wall hung Smart TV provides movies, music, video and social media needs depending on individual account subscription.
Please leave the glasshouse in the condition as when you arrived. Thanks!
Generally I can be onsite, or next door in Corinna, to assist with arrival and access and someone will be available in person or by phone if the need arises during visitors stay. I will also leave easy to read laminated instructions for appliance use. I always provide a good range of condiments and food supplies for guests, including a range of breakfast cereals and other breakfast needs such as juice, milk, bread or crumpets, jams and honey. There is also a package display folder of tourist guides and brochures show casing Tasmania's finest foods, wine and tourist destinations. I am very happy to recommend local cafes and coffee shops should guests wish to eat out.
