I'm sorry that you felt uncomfortable. This is a room share so regardless of my boyfriends unexpected surgery on Saturday, we both would have been present in the home. All of the amenities that you can use were listed in the amenities area of the Airbnb app, I carefully selected those when creating my listing. I wish you would have told me about the cat issue you had, I had no clue and I truly apologize for that. I'm not quite sure how much direction you were expecting from me. We discussed places to go and food to eat a few times. I also asked you to text me if you had any questions or concerns. Which you never did, so I'm a bit confused by your statement that I was preoccupied. I am always available to answer your questions but you never asked any. The litter box was cleaned the night before you got there, I have 3 cats so it doesn't take long before it needs to be cleaned again. The surf board was for decoration and it's in the very corner of the room, if you would have liked me to move it, I would have if you would have let me know. Again, I'm bummed that you felt uncomfortable but wish you would have communicated with me instead of waiting to state your concerns where it falls on idle ears versus allowing me a chance to address your concerns. I know that you did state that you were not comforable but based on our conversation it seemed that was based around the fact that I was home versus you all having the place to yourself as none of your other concerns were mentioned until now. My only suggestion is that maybe next time, do a whole house rental instead of a room share and that will likely ease your level of comfort. I will take all of your concerns and address them for future guests to ensure the experience is better! Regardless, I wish you felt your experience was as enjoyable as other guests who have stayed here and I hope you and your family had a safe trip back home.
