This cozy, historic apartment is located on famed Broad Street in the heart of downtown Charleston’ Historic District. With historic charm, modern decor and luxury touches, this charming apartment is in the midst of Charleston’s top shopping, dining, and museums. Peninsula Point comes with off-street parking for small cars only, free wifi, and allows small breed dogs.

Built in 1802, this 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom pied-à-terre is conveniently located in Charleston’s historic South of Broad neighborhood, walking distance to some of the best restaurants, bars, boutiques, art galleries, and historic destinations you’ll be able to enjoy all the charm the Holy City has to offer. A fusion of Charleston’s history and modern luxury, there are original hardwoods throughout, elegant high ceilings, original chandelier, beautiful molding, and fireplace with original masonry. The bathroom has been updated with Carerra marble and a large walk in shower with luxury linens. The Master Bedroom features a king size bed with luxury linens and beautiful tall windows overlooking Broad Street. The cozy second bedroom boasts a queen size bed with luxury linens. The shared full bathroom has a Carerra marble vanity, and large step-in shower. The partial kitchenette has a marble countertop, stainless steel fridge, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, sink and dishes/utensils for 6. The kitchenette opens up to the living room with comfortable seating area and flat screen TV with cable and complimentary WiFi.
*PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO STOVE. GUESTS LOOKING TO PREPARE MEALS MAY NOT BE SUITED FOR OUR KITCHENETTE.

We offer one, off-street parking spot for guests and there is ample metered short term parking on the street. ***PLEASE NOTE: The provided spot may not be suitable for large cars or certain models of SUVs due to narrow access. We cannot be responsible for guests who are unable to take advantage of our parking if their SUV is difficult to pull into our parking lot. The parking space is ample; the opening to our parking lot is narrow. Due to the narrow entrance, we suggest you have a back-up plan if you have a larger model SUV. It is recommended that you unload luggage out front by our door in a metered space then move your car around back to the off-street parking space for long term or overnight use.***

Each of our luxury vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry. A door code specific to each guests’ stay will be provided by our Concierge Manager one week prior to your reservation. In addition, for properties with gate or garage access, you will be given this access code one week prior to reservation. For any last minute reservations, you will be contacted upon confirmation of the reservation and provided an access code at that time. Once arrived, you may enter and exit the rental at your leisure with these codes.

This is a lovely apt on 2nd floor (long flight of stairs) in a perfect location to explore Charleston. Everything was comfortable and we had what we needed. Recommend ear plugs at night simply because Broad St is active, especially trucks in the morning. Great bakery and restaurants very close. The parking spot is a huge help as parking in Charleston can be a pain.

Perfect location for exploring the South of Broad historic district or the restaurant scene in the French Quarter and parts north. This well appointed apartment with high ceilings and renovated bath, situated in an historic walk-up (one flight) on Broad Street allowed me to live like a local, if only for a few days.

This place definitely had its ups and downs. I stay in AirBnb’s all the time and this was probably one of the more disappointing ones that I have stayed in. If the only thing you care about is location, then this is perfect; otherwise it was unfortunate. The location was fabulous! It was a beautiful, historical, very well decorated apartment. However since it was old it was terribly insulated. We heard every little thing happening on Broad Street. The garbage collection almost every morning at 6am, the next door’s construction beginning at 7am, and every person walking down the street at all hours of the night. In order to muffle the sound, we turned the a/c on that was the loudest a/c unit that I have ever encountered- what was the lesser of 2 evils; definitely a hard choice. The king bed was fine, but the queen bed was the most uncomfortable bed that I have ever stayed in. It was firm, I felt the coils, and slightly slanted. Absolutely the worst. And finally the parking was an issue. It is a very, very tight spot to get it. We have a smaller suv and we ended up never being able to get it in the parking area because there was always something blocking the way. I filter out places to stay based on if they have parking and we weren’t ever able to utilize the spot. It definitely could have been user error but also every time we tried, there was a car in the alley leading up to it so we couldn’t get in the tiny archway. I really do hate being so negative but if this was a hotel, I would have 100% asked for a different accommodations. My cousin is 6 months pregnant and ended up leaving early to head back to home to North Carolina because the bed was so terrible and the noise was horrendous. Just disappointing.

As noted in the listing, this apartment is located in the heart of Historic Downtown Charleston, and considered a prime, central location. Unfortunately the tradeoff with being in such a great location is that the noise from the streets can carry, as is often the case in other popular destination cities. As mentioned in your correspondence with the property manager, there was one night that parking was an issue which we felt was immediately rectified the next morning. Per that conversation, this did not seem to be a continued issue. As we do for all of our guests, we provide a direct contact for you to reach our team at any time throughout your stay so that, if any issues arise, we can quickly be made aware and they can be addressed. I appreciate you sharing your feedback and giving us the opportunity to address these items, but I am saddened that you felt your overall experience was unsatisfactory. I certainly hope that one day we have the opportunity to change your opinion, and that you will return to experience one of our luxury properties located in a quieter part of the city.

The apartment was beautiful and exactly what the pictures showed. The location couldn't be beat, as we could walk to all of the restaurants and historical sights that we wanted to see. Had a wonderful time and would recommend to all Airbnb guests!

There was a problem with the property so we were relocated to another of Sophie's properties, however we were able to see it and it seemed like it would have been a lovely place.

Great location! Apt is a little loud on the street and with the unit above, but if you don't mind that, it's a good place.
