DISCOUNTED RATES FOR FALL 2017!!!!!!! Come relax on beautiful Lake Bellaire on your own private beach! Boat or drive to Shorts Brewery or Torch Lake, we're connected to it all! The lake is gorgeous and our home is perfect for family and friends to get away! Questions? Just ask!
Our vacation home sits at the north end of beautiful Lake Bellaire. The 150 feet of lake frontage includes a private sandy beach and lakeside fire pit with surrounding benches. The 125 foot long dock has room to tie up two large boats around the platform with seating at the end to watch the sun set or jump off to swim. Our shore is shallow, almost waste deep to the end of he dock. Great for kids and families to enjoy. The spacious front and back yards provide plenty of room to park and play. Our street is full of wonderful neighbors.
The home itself is a cozy older home with lots of Up North character. The four bedrooms sleep 8. We have an additional fifth room we use as a bedroom with two more on a futon. You can comfortably sleep up to 16 with the two couches and four on air mattresses if needed! We also have two pack-n-play cribs (one with changing station) and a Summer Infant/Toddler Safety Rail you can add to a twin bed. The family room is very large with a big flat screen tv. Basic cable and wifi included. There is a large dinning room and we also like to eat outside on the large deck with tables and chairs. One two person hammock!

We like to talk to our renters prior to renting so they are all set with the little details of the property. This is our home so please respect it as if it were your own. We hope you get to enjoy this awesome location as much as our family and friends. The photos don't do it justice ... You'll have to see for yourself!! Enjoy!
No weddings or events please. Firm.
AS THE BOOKING GUEST YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL GUESTS STAYING AT OUR HOME. ALL GUESTS MUST BE AWARE OF THE RULES:
NO PARTIES. NO EVENTS. NO WEDDINGS. Please do not try to hide an event from me. I will find out. It's a small town and we know a lot of people. The people we know ... know everyone. This is isn't a threat. lol. It's the truth. Somebody ruined it for everyone else, so now I have to prevent future issues.
PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR HOME as you will see we keep things like family photos and toys for our family and friends to enjoy and we extend these things to you to make it feel more like a home than a rental.
PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR NEIGHBORS as many live there both year-round and seasonally. They are good people who deserve to enjoy the lake as much as you would like to. Please be kind and courteous, introduce yourselves and make friends if you like! They will let me know if someone is not follow the rules!
NO LOUD MUSIC AFTER 11PM OUTSIDE. Voices and music carry over the water and you will sound louder than you think.
NO MOTORIZED VEHICHLES ON OUR PROPERTY OR RACING IN THE STREETS ...
Please be mindful of the Loons in the lake. (Big, black, loud, birds with red eyes that swim underwater for fish. lol) They are protected animals and they like to fish and hang out in front of our home. Do not bother them or get near them with your boat.
Do not light candles!
Please pull the sheets off the beds you used during your stay so we know which ones to clean!
Bring extra bath/beach towels just in case. We do have a good amount but if you have a lot of people and stay more than a few days, they go quickly!
Gather trash from your stay & remove perishable food before you leave.
Garbage goes in the black and yellow bins at the street with pick up every Wednesday. Overflow goes in the cans in the shed.
We do not recycle for you.
Bottle returns can go in the blue can behind the front door.
Do not put large or hard items down the garbage disposal.
Use only the fireplace in family room as needed.
Our guests have always recommended running the vacuum midway through a week long stay. Most try to vacuum before they leave. It seems kids tend to track in more grass and sand than you think! =)
If something happens while you are staying in our home ... for example ... a window gets broken or kids spill something on the carpet ... please be honest with me and let me know before we do our walk through after you check out. I would rather know what we need to take care of between guest. I realize things happen. Either way you would be responsible to pay for the broken window. I don't want to leave a bad review for a guest. Likewise, if something breaks on you while your staying in our home ... example ... garbage disposal breaks. We take care of things for you asap and don't want you to have a bad experience. It is a very old cabin and with that, the home has some quirkiness or character to it.
