Me and my girlfriend needed a place to stay for a whole month (30.June-31.July), but had issues finding anything suitable. We got a tip from some friends to contact Marta and she was helpful and gave us all the dates the apartment was available. We booked all the open spaces on the calendar even though it meant we had to move seven times to other apartments.
As i said, during our stay we had to move to and from the apartment, which meant a lot of check-out and check-in. Marta was helpful and always told us the latest time we had to leave and as soon the apartment was available again the next day. Throughout the stay we tried to be helpful with changing and washing towels and bed sheets to make it easier for Marta and for us, so we didn't have to wait until 18:00 the next day before checking in again.
All in all a nice and big apartment with a lot of space, and flexible hosts.
However, the last week was our longest stay in the apartment without moving (6 days). During that week, suddenly Marta and Lukasz wanted us out of the apartment two days before we were actually going to check out. We were confused and asked if there was a problem, and they said that Martas brother wanted to stay one night. They also said that there was another guest who was going to stay the last night we were supposed to stay in the apartment. We thought this was unprofessional but tried to meet them halfway and say that we could leave one day earlier than our booking, in which they replied, quote Lukasz "very much want you to leave", for a reimbursement of 150 PLN which is more 50 PLN less than the price of the apartment for one night.
We made a deal of 200 PLN to leave, and the other nights we had to crash at some friends and go to Warsaw for the last night. Considering we had made July a really profitable month for them, making sure they did not have a single day with an empty apartment, and with all the extra we did to make things easier for Marta when new guests were arriving, we felt that we didn't deserve to be treated the way they treated us.
We had a good impression of Marta and Lukasz, felt they were service minded and professional, until that happened.
That incident completely changed our view on the whole stay, and it went from perfect to not so good. I was considering giving the stay two stars, but ended up with three stars since the first three weeks were okay.
