I would like to welcome you to Paradise. My place is a 2 bedroom (One King and 2 Twin (Trundle Bed), 2 bath with a sofa condo located right across the street from the Gulf of Mexico with an on-site bar & restaurant and incredible lagoon pool for an amazing atmosphere. We have a full gym, tennis courts and kiddie areas. You’ll love coziness, ambiance, and location. We welcome couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Perfect for everyone!
A shuttle bus runs (free of charge to guests) every half hour from the front of the resort during peak months to the beach area. There is also beach access at Henderson State Park which is right across the street also. The beach area is clean and family oriented. Boardwalks provide access to the beach for swimming, sunbathing, and fishing. Four large and two small pavilions allow for picnicking and grilling and restrooms are located in the pavilions.
Please Note: There will be one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. Please bring all necessary paper products with you as well as dish soap and laundry detergent.

I own a business in Baton Rouge, LA. I have two sons, a daughter in law and one grand daughter. I live on the river in Springfield, LA.
There are some amazing restaurants in the area, if you're looking for a locals hangout go to Boathouse for beer and oysters, Hogs Breath for some BBQ, and there's always Pepitos to fulfill the mexican side (these all are super casual places). If you're looking for something a little more special Marina Cafe, Cuvee Bistro and 790 On The Gulf (incredible sunsets here) are geat places for wine and amazing food. This are just a few of my favorites! Right across the street from Playin' in Paradise is The Back Porch, its right on the beach and swimsuits are welcome. :) If you want to venture out a little, The Red Bar in Grayton Beach and Great Southern Cafe in Seaside are always a nice 30 minute drive.
And who can forget the shopping, we have The Destin Commons and The Outlets in Sandestin. For quaint shopping and more dining try Harbor Walk Village. And if boating and/or fishing is on your agenda, check out the rentals on the harbor. Book an off shore fishing trip on the Gulf of Mexico, on my favorite boat - Anastasia, a snorkeling tour, or rent a pontoon and take a cruise to Crab Island (no its not a real island, its a place where everyone anchors their boats, gets out and walks around, enjoy burgers from the barge restaurants, play water volley ball while listening to local bands playing on the stage, or rent paddle boards.....the internet might come in handy for Crab Island info. And if you want to enjoy this with no responsibility, Wayne with Crab Island Dolphin Tours is your man.
I love Destin so much, I have another unit here in the same building as Playin' In Paradise that I call my HOME AWAY FROM HOME. Sitting by the Lagoon Pool star gazing after a long day at the beach and taking a dip in the hot tub is beyond amazing.
Welcome to Playin' In Paradise, I hope you love "my home" as much as I do!
