Our home was built in 1872 for Dr George Hunt's homeopathic practice & residence. We have been lovingly & tirelessly renovating our home and gardens for the past 20 years. Our children grew up here and we want to share it with others. In fact, we always said when our children left us we could turn our house into a B&B. So this is a bit of a dream come true!
Tilgang for gjester
Please use the front door for coming & going. And park in the first parking area in the spaces across from the main house. We do live in and love our home. But while you are with us, we welcome you to enjoy our airbnb rooms - - living room, parlor, dining room, sunroom, front porch, patio and gardens. There will be closed doors marking our private home which we ask you to respect.
Andre ting å merke seg
We do have a sweet black kitty name Mickey. He's friendly even to strangers.
You may share a bathroom with other guests.
We also recently renovated our attached Carriage House for office space with it's own parking in the rear. Book a therapeutic massage in the Carriage House if you want a truly relaxing stay.
Very simply be mindful that this is our home.... so keep your voices low from 10pm to 7am. And please respect the space behind the doors marked "private". But feel free to text or call us with any concerns/questions at any time.
We will be available by text or call or even knocking on the closed doors. We can chat or make available information/guidebooks for any day-trips you may want to consider.
Over the last 20 years we have lovingly restored our home along with the help of our wonderful children. They loved getting “work gloves” for Christmas! Now sadly, they have grown. But our dream of “maybe when the kids are gone we can turn this big old house into a B&B” is in the making. We believe life is so much richer when shared with family, friends and now future friends.
