Welcome to The Fahnestock house, our restored Second Empire home! You will love our light filled second floor apartment with an eat-in-kitchen, queen bed, and seating/tv area. Explore downtown Lancaster on foot by stepping outside through our amazing wrought iron door!
Our home was built by Return E. Fahnestock in the 1880's. When we purchased it in 2008, it was in a state of serious disrepair. We have slowly been bringing it back to life over the last 9 years. This apartment features a large sunny eat-in-kitchen with a sitting area/couch for extra guests. The windows provide a view of the backyard and fill the room with light. The view in the fall when the oak tree turns yellow is amazing! It's like living in a golden cloud! The bedroom has a 13ft ceiling and large windows at the head of the queen size bed, which evokes a loft feeling. We also have a small loveseat / tv to use with a bluray player, in the bedroom so you can watch movies if you like. In the warmer months there is a side balcony that's perfect for drinking your morning coffee!
We invite you to follow along on our insta account @ fahnestockhouse. We talk about all things House reno and Airbnb goodies!
