An easy 10 minutes from the town of Golden, our completely unique, elegant, extremely romantic, custom built, all season yurt and modern shower house Note: There is a new build happening on the rural property beside us for summer 2026. During the hours of 8am-5pm Mon-Friday there could be some noise. We reduced our prices to reflect that and promise to take great care of you!:)

Tucked away in a manzanita grove and perched on a cliff with the river below, the space offers privacy, views, and close access to the river. Private trails for hiking, biking, xc ski or snowshoe on our Elk Run Trail. 4wd preferred travel in winter. Parking approximately 200 feet below the cabin. Wood burning stove for heat and to warm food. Blackstone grill & French Press provided. Solar lights. Water is supplied. Compost potty.

A yurt-cabin is an all season, insulated hard panel style “yurt-cabin”, that is heated with a wood stove. The yurt is off-grid powered by solar, a composting toilet and outdoor heated shower. Relax, unwind and disconnect while you are “cozy camping” , next to the Popo Agie River on a shared 3-1/2 acres. We are frequented by an abundance of wildlife and you will be welcomed by our two friendly llamas (Trip and Journey), ducks and chickens.
