Relax and put your feet up in this peaceful hideaway, down a back section in the heart of Windsor. A 5-minute walk from the shopping centre with a supermarket, pharmacy, boutique shops, pizzeria, fish and chips and cafes. A short stroll away is the Waihopai River Walkway, the beautiful Queens Park is a 10-minute walk away, and 10 minutes drive to the city centre. Please note the 2nd bed is a fold out couch (it is extra) and the guesthouse is beside our garage (so you may hear the garage door).

The Settlers Rest Riverton

The Settlers Rest is a quaint holiday retreat, approximately 300m to Taramea bay. Safe swimming beaches, and the second longest wave in New Zealand is found at Mitchell's bay where dolphins are spotted regularly.  Walking the dog on the pet friendly beaches on low tide on sunset is truly inspiring.
