On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. This cabin opens up with vaulted ceilings, skylights to stargaze, large windows with amazing views, a fireplace with a warm ambiance in splendid isolation. Outside we have a huge wrap around deck w/ a hot tub. Let that mountain air filter out your stress, relax, rejuvenate and cuddle by the fire after a long day of play.

Within walking distance from the center of town, it's perfectly situated on a quiet street amongst the trees, buzzing with blue jays and hummingbirds. Curl up by the fireplace and enjoy surround-sound tunes, or have a spa-like soak after hitting the nearby trails. As a creative couple ourselves, we designed this space for romantic getaways and creative retreats.

The loft-style Cozy Cabin is uniquely private for the Pine Cove area and a short drive to downtown Idyllwild. Its nestled on a half-acre of wooded land to ensure lots of time to disconnect in peace. For the cold nights, a wood burning stove and heater provide warmth and comfort, along with lots of blankets. A coffee bar and complimentary snacks are there for the taking. Selected 2nd best glamping site in the United States by Hipcamp 2023. One of the last remaining undeveloped parts of Southern California, De Luz Heights is located adjacent to the Cleveland National Forest, and the Santa Margarita River (just a few miles from the campsite). On my 80 acres, there are no public roads going through or next to the property.  My land is 13 miles from the Pacific ocean and enjoys a relatively mild yearly climate, and features giant boulders and native wildlife.
