Oak View Country Retreat is located on 20 acres of mature oak trees and pasture. Surrounded by farm fields, you’ll find a spacious 1200 sq ft living area with full kitchen, dining and living room areas, accessible bathroom and two queen beds. Open concept provides great accessibility for wheelchair or scooter. Linens and towels provided. Centrally located and a short trip to many events including Pella’s Tulip Time, Knoxville’s sprint car races, Newton’ s NASCAR races and the Iowa State Fair.

Relax at this peaceful country hideaway after a day of touring the sites. Enjoy quiet outdoors while being less than a mile from the downtown district. Enjoy time on the patio with a fire and beverage with wildlife in the backyard. Perfect place to wind down and enjoy nature. As Schipp would say.... "It's the perfect hideaway!" This space is the entire basement, you may or may not share yard space with renters upstairs if rented. AC is controlled upstairs, but reach out if warm or cool.

Perfect for couples, small families, Central College visitors or a cozy Pella getaway, the home blends historic charm with a peaceful retreat.

Spacious Three Bedroom Home

Nestled in the heart of Newton, this spacious 1840 sqft house offers the perfect blend of comfort and charm. Just 2 blocks from downtown Newton & less than 35 miles to Des Moines, Grinnell, Pella, & Knoxville, this home is great for long-term stays (by the hospital) for traveling nurses, or short stays for visiting family, a big event, or just need a place to stay you’ll find everything one home. Pets 80 pounds or under are more than welcome for a fee. No extra fees for guests up to 7.

The Prayer Cabin

The Prayer Cabin is located at Lake Red Rock outside of Pella, IA. The cabin Is an Earthen/Berm home located on a 1 acre lot in a quiet & clean neighborhood. The lot boasts a wooded valley with many birds and squirrels to watch. The Prayer Cabin was recently remodeled with a brand new kitchen and bathroom. Our first guests asked us if Chip and Joanna were the creators of the design. 💚 Navy Blue cabinets, Tons of white shiplap and open shelving. Peaceful. A place of respite and relaxation.

The Strawtown Cottage - in downtown Pella

Completely remodeled 1865 original Strawtown Store of Pella conveniently located in one of the best small towns in Iowa. Three blocks to downtown Pella, 1 1/2 blocks to West Market Park, 2 blocks to Central football, baseball and softball complex. Enjoy the cottage charm with two private bed and bath suites, a family room with dining, full kitchen, front and side porch, laundry and large back yard. Off-street parking in the back. Luxury sheets on queen beds await after your adventures.

The Mid-Town Cottage

Stay close to everything in this charming 1940’s cottage, just steps from historic downtown Pella. Renovated for comfort and style, this cozy retreat is the perfect home base whether you’re visiting family and friends, working, or exploring all that the area has to offer. Enjoy easy access to Pella’s unique shops, local restaurants, and vibrant town square; or take a short drive to Lake Red Rock for scenic trails and outdoor adventures. Sandstone Creek Barn

Make memories when you vacation by staying in a barn! Connect with rural life and nature at this comfortable escape. Ideal for families, couples, and singles with extra long twin beds in the bedroom and two lofts. Space to roam with 2+ miles of nature trails. Or relax with table and board games. The stairs into the lofts are steep. Someone with walking or climbing issues might have trouble. (The hosts are both 76 and have no trouble.)

Relax at this adults only log cabin that sleeps 4 comfortably! Private tiki bar w/grill overlooking our lake which is stocked with bass, blue gil and catfish! It's Perfect for fishing and kayaking! We have a fire pit, bbq, walking path on property, outdoor seating, donkeys & mini horses on property. The house is stocked with what you need to cook/bbq! Near speedway, holiday lake, Williamsburg!

60's Inspired Studio

Our awesome 60's Inspired studio has a mid-century vintage vibe! A quick walk to explore the unique city of Pella. Including the city park, historical buildings, restaurants, bakeries, meat markets, stores, Central College, movie theater and much more to explore. This is a second story walk-up; you will have a flight of steps to enter and exit. Private entrance and parking in driveway.
