The Sinclair Suite

This 1 bedroom/1 bath private home was originally a historic Sinclair gas station. Renovated in 2023, we’ve kept as much of the original building’s elements as possible while restoring it to create both a unique and relaxing experience. The bay area has been converted into a living/sleeping space that includes a TV & seating area as well as two queen-sized beds and a sleeper sofa. The former office space now features a full kitchen. A back patio, firepit, washer & dryer are all located on site.

The Chief Cabin at The Lazy Buffalo portrays the life of the Great Comanche Chief Quanah Parker. His original Star House which is on the National Register of Historic Places is less than a mile away. Nestled at the foothills of the mountains and 3 miles from the entrance to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, The Lazy Buffalo offers 13 individually themed cabins. The Chief Cabin sleeps 4 guests and has two queen size beds and full bathroom with walk in tiled shower.
