Tairua is a small beachside community with lovely cafes and restaurants only a 5 minute walk from here. 2 Hours S.E. of Auckland Tairua is a great town to base yourself to see the main attractions of the Coromandel. Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove within a 30 minute drive.We have a beautiful safe harbour, a surf beach and great fishing and diving.

A beautifully restored 1979 Bedford bus which has all the modern comforts but still retains original features of the bus, this area has sleeping for two along with kitchen area, fridge, gas stove and a dining area on the covered deck. Sweet little cabin in the woods that we promise is definitely not the start of a B-grade horror flick (unless you're not great with the odd bug and some low-fi living) A bit of a glamping experience - we use solar lights and a camp stove, but there is some pretty great luxury features.
