The pretty village of Winterbourne St. Martin (Martinstown) has a great pub and a super village shop both within a short walk. Close to the Jurassic Coast and spectacular country views, its the perfect place to chill after a walk, a day at the beach (approx five miles away) or visiting the many attractions in and around Dorchester. We are so excited about our conversion. Completely self-contained, it is a lovely, light, cosy open space with a well equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and a cool sleeping platform/mezzanine. Piddlehinton is a special place, 20 mins from the Jurassic Coast and 10 mins from Dorchester, in the renowned Piddle Valley, with beautiful walks, views and our award winning pub, The Thimble Inn. We are right next door if you need anything, but if you prefer your privacy, you can be totally separate.

Guests are also welcome to use our laundry room, for all your washing and drying needs 😊 We have lots to do on site, tennis courts, shared hot tubs and 7acres of grounds!

The Snug @ Snowdrop House

The Snug is a hidden gem nestled on the edge of a small woodland at Snowdrop House. It is located just off the road between Piddlehinton and Dorchester making it the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Dorset countryside and breathtaking Jurassic Coast. The Snug has a well-equipped fitted kitchen if you fancy a relaxing night in or if you’d rather head out, we’d recommend a visit to the Thimble Inn, just down the road. The Snug has a large private decking area and private driveway.

No.1 The Courtyard is nestled just outside the village of Tincleton and was originally part of the servant’s accommodation to Clyffe House (1842). We are situated 6 miles from Dorchester, and within easy reach of many Dorset attractions; Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Corfe Castle, The Purbeck Hills, Kimmeridge, Southwest Coastal Path, Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World, Weymouth, Swanage.

We are one mile away from The Wise Man Inn - an award-winning pub; 6 miles from Dorset's stunning Jurassic coast and 3 miles from the county town of Dorchester. You will, however, need a car- or bikes! Sorry, no pets and no smoking. No EV charging, yet, but there are many fast charging points nearby.
