Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

Hello! We are Rob and Kate and we have poured our heart and soul into our guest house. Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Boutique Country Retreat

Set in the grounds of a Manor House, the recently converted The Stables is a perfect place for families or small groups of up to 6 (or 8 with use of sofa bed - *additional cost pp). Two of the three bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. Downstairs a large entertaining and dining area leads to the a fully equipped kitchen. A utility room with washer and dryer leads to a shower room. There is a snug with large tv and a selection of games and books. French doors lead to a fabulous outdoor seating area

Set within a beautifully kept acre garden, this hideaway invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature. As evening falls, light the fire pit, pour a glass of wine, and watch the sky fade into dusk. Lay back in the wood‑fired hot tub under open skies, soaking in the views as the world slows around you. A calm, luxurious space made for unwinding.

The Garden Room

In Backwell, a 20-min drive from Bristol Airport, relax in the quiet garden room, a contemporary self-contained double bedroom with an ensuite wet room. Arrive to chocolate and a glass of wine, maybe on the terrace. There's juice, fruit and a cereal bar as well as tea or Dolce Gusto hot chocolate, cappucino or Americano. Please let me know of any allergies or intolerances. The Rising Sun is a short walk away and provides great food and drinks all day. Heaven Coffee House is very near too.

The Vault

The Vault is a really special space, which we hope you can see from the photographs. It is a basement studio apartment with its own private entrance. It is quiet and cosy with underfloor heating and an ambient temperature all year round. This property is very central, making it easy to plan your visit. We are very close to the harbour and the property is on the famous Georgian Square, Queen Square. It feels like you have stepped into a film from Jane Austen as you come out of the building.

Fairywells is a self-contained barn conversion. It is attached to our stable block across the stable yard from our farmhouse. The property is newly converted. It is located in beautiful rural Somerset, yet ideal for central Bristol (15 minute drive) and Bristol Airport (less than 10 minute drive). There are lovely local walks straight from the property, with a footpath leading down to the pretty village of Barrow Gurney which has a pub and shop.
