Perfectly located just a short walk from the town centre, harbour, beaches and the famous Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland steam railways. Snowdonia National Park is only 10 minutes away and the beautiful Italian-style village of Portmeirion is close by. Enjoy stunning views from the balcony out towards Harlech castle and the mountains. A great base to explore North Wales.

Ffermdy Bach, close to Borth y Gest's coastal path

Ffermdy Bach is a self contained cottage adjoining our Welsh farmhouse. It has a separate entrance and garden so you can enjoy your holiday undisturbed. You are only 5 minutes walk from the coastal path and beautiful beaches of Borth y Gest. There's so much to explore and see in the area: Snowdonia, Portmeirion, castles, narrow gauge railways in nearby Porthmadog and if you are looking for more excitement try the zip wires at Blaenau and Llanberis. Set on a family farm, the cabin is a peaceful luxurious retreat with spectacular views of Snowdonia and Cardigan Bay. Cattle graze in open pastures all around. The faint sound of the stream running in the distance that you can wonder down to through the ancient woodland. Enjoy views from Snowdon down the Welsh coast from a king size bed. The warm glow from the fire flickering on the pillow. The large rainfall shower and warmth underfoot from underfloor heating perfect on a cold evening.

Enjoy stunning views and sunsets from the back garden across Eryri, Afon Dwyryd estuary, Port Meirion, Bae Ceredigion, and LLyn Peninsula. Here is our newly completed shepherds Hut -Gwenlli a welsh name that depicts the view of Bardsey Island on the horizon. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.

This stylish accommodation is perfect for exploring Snowdonia. Located near the picturesque Portmeirion Italian village, the Ffestiniog Narrow Gauge Railway, and the Coastal Path, it offers a range of walking trails, from leisurely strolls to challenging hikes. We are also close to the harbour town of Porthmadog. The owner is knowledgeable about the area and can recommend places to visit, including excellent local restaurants and pubs, all accessible by bus and train.
