This converted stable block is situated on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park making it an ideal base from which to explore the wonderful surroundings. A stone's throw from Zip World and a short walk from the Glyderau, Y Stabl is also an ideal base for those with an adventurous spirit. The mountain scrambles of the Ogwen Valley, rock climbs of the Llanberis Pass, the mountain bike trails of the Gwydir Forest and the beaches of Anglesey and the Llyn are all easily accessible by short drives.

The Barn is situated in a stunning and idyllic location surrounded by nature, and yet within easy access to the Village and the start of the main Snowdon footpath.The Barn has been sensitively restored and maintains many of it's original features,including crog loft (upstairs sleeping area with limited head room, accessed via steep stairs) and exposed beam ceilings.The 7.5 acres of land are situated directly behind the barn. At the base of the Nant Peris Valley, one of the most dramatic in Britain, it is perfectly located for climbing Snowdon. The accommodation is great for one or two couples, or a small family. In our tiny village of Nant Peris we have a great local pub with ales, good food and an inglenook fire a stroll from your front door. Castles,beaches and adventures- Snowdonia has it all.

Zipworld is only 5 minutes away and if you love walking there's an array of walks to suit all abilities on our doorstep.

We are delighted to offer our cottage in Braichmelyn as a base for your North Wales adventure. Whether you want to spend the day walking the horseshoe or just through the woods to above Ogwen Valley, there is something for everyone. The house is within walking distance of the village, 5 minutes from the Zip wire and 20 minutes from Anglesey and Snowdon. Rhiw Goch Cottage is a spacious detached one bedroom stone-built cottage with wood burner dating from the 18th century or earlier. Our guests love the cottage for it's rustic charm and beautiful gardens with secluded glades and viewpoints over the Lledr valley. It's on a quiet hillside surrounded by craggy ancient woodland full of wildlife about 3 miles from Betws-y-Coed, well placed to explore Snowdonia but also well off the beaten track.
