It sits nestled in the trees with a beautiful view overlooking the secluded 14 acres. Enjoy fishing or kayaking on Prairie Creek. Trailer your SxS to the trails or ride from the cabin. It is about a 15 minute drive by SxS to either trail system from the cabin. We provide a map that shows the route we take from the cabin. Come enjoy the peace and beauty Mena offers.

Our goal was to create a space for the entire family. The History of our Cabin started as Hoss's Country Store where we provided a general store for our community and the guests visiting our beautiful area next to the National Forest. We have always felt that taking care of our family and friends were the top priority. The Cottage at Acorn is located in the Heart of the Ouachita Mountains and only 4 miles to Mena. The Cottage is a double cylinder block mother-in-law suite, with concrete floors, pine ceilings and vintage decorations. Walking distance from a playground, walking track, and Veterans Memorial Park. Covered concrete parking (with a basketball goal) and an outdoor covered patio. There are 2 entrances, please use The Veterans Memorial Park entrance on Highway 71.

It is equipped with a full kitchen. This tiny house is located on a quiet street. Bring your UTV's - you can ride from the house to several trails within miles of the National Forrest.
