Take a break and unwind at this peaceful cabin situated close to York and Wilberfoss. A perfect place to escape with your loved ones, explore nearby villages and local walks. There are two bedrooms a bathroom including bath and shower. There’s a comfy corner sofa and large open plan living area to cook and eat together, relax and watch a movie. Take breakfast on the balcony. During the day enjoy the patio and lunch outside or lounge in the sun. The hot tub makes for a perfect evening wind down.

York is 20 min by car. Country Houses , Sledmere, Castle Howard and Burton Agnes are all within a 30 minute drive. Family/ friends, Male or Female groups welcome. This is my part-time home so, there's everything you need, including games, kitchen essentials, a comfy king size bed & 2 parking spaces. The cosy living room has a large dining table and a double comfy sofa bed. Perfect if you like a bold, colourful and clean place to stay. * This ground floor flat is not suited for most people with mobility issues. There is a sofa bed & the main bed is on a platform.

Beautiful and stylish barn conversion near York

The cottage is a Grade II listed barn conversion offering a welcoming base for your stay. Heating is provided by a biomass boiler, so very eco friendly. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.

The surprisingly spacious open-plan sitting room incorporates dining and has a sociably open-plan kitchen. Wi-Fi and Smart TV just in case! There is a cast iron gas stove for chilly days and French doors opening onto the verandah overlooking the lake. There are two double bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, the other with twin beds. The bathroom/WC has a large separate shower cubicle with a seat and handrail. A private fishing platform plus bank fishing is suitable for wheelchair users.
