In the winter you might need a AWD vehicle to reach the cabin because of the snow. Ask about walking access to the creek for April -August trout fishing

We have created a private two-story, two bedroom retreat within the main home, separate entrance and amenities included. Take in the beautiful views of 2024's River of the Year & The Allegheny National Forest while enjoying your morning cup of coffee on our private dock. Hop on a bike or take a scenic stroll along the river and finish the evening cozied up by the fire under the night sky.

Hike the Allegheny National Forest trails, paddle the river, hit the firepit at night, or just play cornhole and Yardzee in the yard. This cabin is a great place for a family getaway in the Allegheny National Forest. It is easy to access on the main road, but still gives you the feel of the forest. It sits and overlooks the Allegheny River channel, in the summer you can watch fire flies on the island behind the cabin while you listen to the toads and bullfrogs sing. The river channel provides many opportunities to see wildlife such as ducks, eagles, deer, beavers, river otters, turtles and much more.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place located on the Allegheny River. Stay for hunting and fishing trips with friends. Bring your boat and launch it right in front of the cabin. Get your supplies at the local Trading Post (fire wood, groceries and more). Bring your ATV and enjoy the trails only a few miles away from the place. You have more guests? No problem if you like to put up a tent or two. ( ask the host for details ).

Welcome to our Creekside Cottage! I have called this place home for most of my life, playing in the back yard, waving at the steady stream of kayakers or going creeking and exploring the islands. Nowadays, I still adventure out with my kids but you'll also find me kicking back and enjoying the sights from the big picture window or out on the back deck watching the sunset.
