I built this cabin in 1989, this property has a lot of history, it was part of the land that my father in law acquired from the Roosevelt program, I believe that was in 1932, he was one of the few original settlers. we have 25 acres we are in process of making walking trail that will wind back and forth through the entire property. will be a good chance of seeing all kind of wildlife including deer turkey, squirrels and all kind of birds. Walking distance to downtown Pine Mountain and a few minutes walking or biking to Callaway Gardens. Nearby attractions include several wineries and breweries, FDR national park, the Wild Animal Safari, and more. This is an old rustic house. If you leave the doors open, bugs may come in as we are in the woods.

It is in walking distance to restaurants, music, white water rafting, ziplining and so much more. You are also two blocks from the Chattahoochee River. It is 10-minute drive to Fort Benning.

Just a very short walk to the Columbus Civic Center, baseball stadium and the Riverwalk. 10minutes to Ft Benning and just a few blocks from all of the fabulous downtown restaurants and entertainment. Recently totally renovated with hardwood floors, exposed fireplace, front and back porch, new cabinets with granite countertops, &custom shower. Back deck has table/chairs and charcoal grill.

A short drive to Callaway Gardens! Few people even know it exists except the owners whose family has occupied this land since 1835 . We are an hour South of Atlanta. The cabin is not primitive. It has all the modern convenience sitting on a 20 ac tract with bigger tracts of land adjoining. I have a five person sleep accommodation but if you are a larger family I can make an allowance. It is a very safe area and we are available if you need us.
