Iconic 17th Century Thatched Cottage

Enjoy the beautiful garden in the summer sunshine or hunker down next to the fire in the winter, Hoo Cottage has it all! It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

The Old Manor Cottage is a beautiful Grade 2 listed thatched cottage that dates back to the 17th century and sits peacefully in the large grounds of the owner's manor house. The charming cottage has a lovely cosy feel with many character features, including exposed beams and oak doors. It is surrounded by stunning countryside. William Shakespeare's birthplace of Stratford upon Avon is less than 10 miles away. Chipping Campden and Stow on the Wold are both within 20 minutes.

In this light and spacious bedroom there is a king size bed, a sofa bed, TV and Wifi leading into a separate, modern kitchen with a dining table and shower room. A private path leads from the guest parking space to the property . Our friendly village is a 10 minute drive from junction 12 off the M40, just a few miles from Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick, Leamington Spa and Banbury, with easy access to exploring the Cotswolds.

Welcome to the Barn and Fossebury Farm. A beautifully converted barn, close to Shakespeare's Stratford and a short drive to the Cotswolds and 45 minutes from NEC. On our family farm you will have your own space to relax and unwind with beautiful views and sunsets across the open fields. Children and well-behaved pets welcome. We also have stabling onsite should you wish to bring your own horse.

They are hidden away in woodland in the grounds of the Kirtlington Park Polo Club, next to a Capability Brown-designed lake.
