Spend your evenings soaking in the private hot tub beneath the stars, relaxing by the fire table, or gathering around the shared wood-burning firepit. Inside you'll find a king-size bed, luxurious soaker tub with a rainfall shower, fully equipped kitchenette, and everything you need for a peaceful getaway.

Welcome to Barra Shores, an Escape for Every Body. Relax with family or friends at this peaceful location. The beautiful landscape overlooks the Northumberland Shore. The property includes barrier-free facilities such as wooded trails, open field, gazebo, surrounding cement walkways and easy water access. Unwind in the hot tub or cozy up around the fire pit while enjoying the amazing view. Our cottage is a place where people of all ages and abilities can stay, escape and enjoy the outdoors.

Oak and Aspen Cabin

Nestled among the oak trees, at the top of a riverbank, you'll find a beautiful handmade dovetail log cabin overlooking the East River. Come explore the 25 acre wooded property in Riverton with hundreds of feet of river front. The river offers wonderful swimming and fishing opportunities with three great salmon holes within a 5 minute walk from the cabin. The cabin is a work of art and has all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable. It is a 5 minute hike to access the cabin.

Miracles on Polly - Memory Lane Cabin

Inspired by Mother Goose, or the figures one holds dear. A place for her to rest after a long fairy tale journey. A place to remember and cherish her mementos and treasures she has collected along the way. A cabin and space that embraces both creativity and comfort. Filled with antiques and refurbished furniture, pianos, and organs. This is our third cabin we have installed on our four acre property. There is an exclusive 6 person hot tub off the veranda and the sauna is only steps away.

This unique, one-of-a-kind experience offers the perfect mix of adventure, comfort, and serenity, all while gently floating on the tranquil waters of Murray Harbour, PEI, at Nellie's Landing Marina. Fully air-conditioned for your comfort, The Cabernet is equipped with modern amenities including TV, a mini-fridge, and a tiki bar. Full washrooms are just a short walk away in the common area. Also on site is a licensed Oyster Bar & canteen with breakfast, lunch & dinner served.

The Loft at the Gingerbread House is a small, seasonal studio space above a carriage house. As a more-affordable option to a hotel, it is the perfect spot to rest for a night or 2 as you explore Nova Scotia. Suitable for 2 people (pls note there are no kitchen facilities), this unique landmark is in close proximity to all of the conveniences of New Glasgow - including walking distance to the New Glasgow Farmer’s Market and many great local restaurants! Available May - Oct.

Cozy Cabin #2 - with Hot Tub

Experience rustic-modern living in our cozy cabin with a view! Rest in our loft on a queen bed, or on the main floor on the double sleeper sofa. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, utensils, and propane cooktop. Enjoy entertainment with a 24" smart TV upstairs. Outside, unwind in the private hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or relax with a book in your favourite adirondack chair, and savor meals at the picnic table. Your perfect escape awaits amidst nature's beauty.

Private Hot Tub River Retreat

The “Kenzie B” cottage is a newly built cottage with unique features throughout like a sliding steel barn door, a steel shower and old barn beams along the ceiling. The covered veranda off the front of the cottage provides you with stunning views of the tidal river and a private hot tub overlooks the river as well. Swim, boat, float, whatever you wish, the river awaits! We also have a motorized floating picnic table for rent if you'd like to explore the river some more.
