We are a Portuguese family that knows all the islands of the Azores, and completed in August 2018 this retreat, to get away from our busy lives in London. Until the day comes that we can enjoy it full time, we have decided to share the amazing space we have created with others that love the nature, mountain and sea that is always surrounding us. The house is within Prainha, the most beautiful parish of Pico Island, and within close proximity to the beach, restaurants, grocery store and bakery.

Janela do Porto - o Atlântico dentro de casa

Uma janela de frente para o mar e costas nas encostas da costa Norte da Ilha do Pico. Sentado na poltrona pouso o olhar em São Jorge lá deitado ao longe. Nos pés da casa o mar enovela-se como gato que ronrona. Fecho os olhos e sorrio, encontrei o paraíso... Antiga adega de pesca totalmente reconstruída na primeira fileira de frente para o mar. A vista é incrível a começar com o nascer do sol matutino. Abriga até 6 pessoas (4 pessoas em camas e duas em sofá cama). Espaço com 4 ambientes.

Charming Beach House along the Ocean

Located minutes from downtown Madalena, “Casa da Barca” is a charming space granting guests picturesque views of the ocean and island of Faial from one side, and iconic Pico Mountain on the other. Walk only a few steps out the door and take a dip into natural pools or enjoy a refreshment at Pico’s award winning Cella Bar. Your host will welcome you with some cheese and wine, giving you a taste of the Acores and getting your palate ready for delicious island food.

Casa do Cacto - 1 Bedroom Cosy Flat

Our 1-Bedroom Cosy Flat is a cute and comfortable accommodation for two - it is located at one of the most beautiful seafront areas in Pico overlooking Faial island. Some of the best restaurants on the island are nearby, and the town centre is only 10mins away - all walking distance. Casa Baleia Laranja Ocean-Front

Experience up close the sea pounding against the volcanic rock of Pico Island. Located on the north coast amidst the UNESCO World Heritage Site, this sea-level, ocean-front property is located 5 minutes by car from Madalena, the largest town and center for shopping on Pico Island. The house, with plenty of parking. sits on a landscaped 5500 square meter (approximately 1.3 acres) property, that also supports a small vineyard.

Solar-powered wine house located in the Landscape of Pico Island Vineyard Culture - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Just a couple of minutes driving from Madalena village, this traditional and remodeled wine house has its own vineyard on the backyard. A cozy space for two with a bedroom, kitchenette open to living room and a bathroom. The wine house is overlooking the ocean, Faial island and Pico mountain.

Casa d'Avô Francisco

Outrora adega tradicional de vinho, construída por Francisco Paulo em 1980, esta moradia serviu durante muitos anos como local de produção e armazém do vinho da família Paulo. A adega foi remodelada e ampliada, mas mantêm os alçados tradicionais e a decoração e pormenores próprios dos tempos em que foi utilizada como adega. Junto à zona balnear, possui uma vista que convida a longas noites de conversa.

Adega Fraga - Cabrito Ilha do Pico Açores

A nossa Adega é o espaço ideal para descansar. Encontra-se à beira-mar, tem uma vista magnífica para a montanha. Embora esteja numa zona mais isolada, pois encontra-se inserida na Paisagem da Vinha-Património da Humanidade, está muito perto de todos os recursos necessários (Centro de Saúde, Mercado, etc).Tem zona balnear a poucos metros.

Casa do Cais

You will find this holiday home at Porto Calhau - only a 10 minutes drive from Madalena. There is one big bedroom for 5 people ( 1 double bed, and a bunk bed for 3 people), one living room with a kitchenette, bathroom with a shower and a toilette. It also has a terrace where you can enjoy beautiful sunset.

Entre a terra e o mar, no meio do verde e do basalto, rés-vés com um trilho pedestre vislumbra-se a imponente "ADEGA DA VARANDA ALTA", onde se avista o canal Pico - São Jorge e este último de lés-a-lés. Situa-se no lugar do Canto, freguesia de Santo Amaro, concelho de São Roque, ilha do Pico-Açores.

A Casa dos Segredos é uma casa com 3 quartos de cama, 2 casas de banho e uma sala/cozinha. Tem também uma garagem, parque de estacionamento, barbecue e uma esplanada com muito sossego e com uma esplêndida vista para o mar e para a Ilha de São Jorge.
