This lovely and characterful two-bedroom,apartment is located on a historic pedestrian lane right in the centre of Penrith, where it is surrounded by shops, restaurants, pubs, cafés and places of interest. It is on the first and second floors of a 250 year old building and has a double bedroom, a single bedroom, an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room, and a small private-use courtyard. We have free parking for two cars on the driveway outside the house, and around the back is a shared garden with outdoor seating, ideal for al fresco dining when the sun is shining!

Situated in the beautiful Eden Valley which lies between the Lake District and the Northern Pennines, we have converted an 17th Century barn into a modern chic, cosy, private one-bedroom apartment perfect for a luxurious getaway to this beautiful corner of the UK. The spacious apartment has a king-sized bed, one bathroom with a walk-in shower and an open plan kitchen and living room. There is WiFi ( but it can be intermittent due to our rural location) TV and DVD player.

The house is located in the village of Stainton which is located 5 mins from the edge of the Lake District. Only 5 minutes from Penrith, 10 minutes from Ullswater and 20 minutes from Keswick!
