"Kingfisher Cottage" is the epitome of life in rural Herefordshire. A peaceful slice of our wonderful county (and recent film set of Hamnet), perfect for walkers and small market town explorers, ideal as a writers retreat or small family stay.

The Garden House

A beautiful, recently renovated two storey house attached to the host's home. It is secluded, south facing and sunny, with glorious views across water meadows to the river which cuts its way beneath steep woodland and past the best fine dining pub in Herefordshire, The Riverside. The house has its own terraced garden and below, an orchard - great for dogs. We are on the marvellous Mortimer Trail which is a 30 mile walk between the towns of Ludlow and Kington. 45 mins from Hay Festival!

We are only 1.5 hours from Birmingham and Bristol airports and 2 3/4 hours drive from London Heathrow.

Within easy walking distance of the historic centre of Leominster with its celebrated range of antique shops. Good access to public transport, or a public car park is yards away. A great base to explore the wonderful Herefordshire countryside.

Pembridge must be one of the prettiest villages in the country. A great location for walkers and sightseers with Kington, Leominster, Ludlow the Welsh border and Offa's Dyke all within easy reach. Walcote Lodge is a spacious, quiet (fully double glazed), cosy and well-equipped detached house. A new kitchen and 2 new bathrooms were completed in 2025. Centrally located with the 14th Century "New" Inn across the road and the Red Lion next to it, you'll be well served with local hostelries.

Countryside retreat

My Husband and I moved to Herefordshire in late 2019 and we love it here. The property is surrounded by farming countryside and yet is just a few minutes in to Leominster & with easy access to beautiful towns all around. A fully self-contained 2 bedroom cottage which is attached to the main house. A fantastic place from which to explore. We are just off the old Hereford Road with plenty of parking. Cows and sheep roam the fields around us, and there are cowsheds behind us for Winter use.

A stone's throw from 15th century market square and New Inn pub, this newly renovated dog-friendly barn is at the heart of the black & white trail of historic English villages. Ideal for walkers and cyclists, the garage is all yours - for bikes or maybe your classic car. I also take pride in being LGBTQ+ friendly. Walk, bike, enjoy the local pubs, or just relax!

Orchard Barn

The Orchard Barn at Old Court Farm. Our country hideaway has been lovingly brought to life from its humble beginnings as a Old cider barn. Designed and built here on the farm, this modern conversion brings a luxurious ‘interior feel’ surrounded by never-ending oak beams with views over looking the apple orchards. With 70 acres of near by orchards for you and your pets to ‘roam freely’ it’s a true feeling of the very beautiful English countryside.
