The Hideaway - a cosy calm oasis

A cosy, calm oasis set in a spacious garden of fruit trees. This sun filled pad is the perfect base to relax in, or from which to explore Whanganui. The Hideaway is part of the owner’s art studio complex with its own deck. Guests will be greeted by med sized dog! Only 5km from town, facilities include dbl bed, smart TV, fridge, m-wave, toaster, hotplate, washing machine, clothes rack. Tea, coffee, herbal teas and light breakfast provided. Tuparipari Riverbank Retreat is perched on the banks of the Whanganui River amongst native trees and in a loved bird garden adorned with garden art. This retro studio apartment is complete with an en suite, kitchenette & private entrance. Your alternative entrance is via spiral stairway leads up to your laundry and a second toilet. This is a great retreat for couples, solo adventurers, or business travellers. The wifi is very fast (Gigabyte speed) and is unlimited.

Set in a private spot of our property, we carefully crafted this container into a tiny home with all the amenities necessary for an enjoyable stay. This container can sleep up to six people: Bedroom one - double bed Bedroom two - queen bed Sofa bed in lounge - we would advise this for kids or teenagers. We can provide a travel cot for infants if organised in advance.

2 bedroom apartment in a 1905 villa, in a beautiful country setting just out of town. There’s a large living/dining room with a kitchenette, a good-sized bathroom, one bedroom with queen bed and one with 2 single beds. The apartment, and it’s parking, is the front half of the house as seen in the house photo. There is a ramp to the front door, no-step entry. Please send any questions you have.
