Welcome to The Poplars Holiday Cottage, we are located in East Lancashire in a lovely historic hamlet called Hurstwood Village. A rural but not to rural country cottage where you can unwind, rest and relax. If you love walking, cycling again this is the place with many walks and trails on the door step. We can accommodate 3 people having a double room and a single room. There is a lockable bike shed for our cycling guests. Local pubs/restaurants and a village shop is within walking distance.

The Coach House

This is a detached barn that can sleep up to 6 people ,the extra bed is a futon in the upstairs bedroom,bedding is provided.. it has plenty of safe secure parking.. a patio area with seating..it is close to nature and lots of outdoor space. Great for motorbikers too. It has underfloor heating, log burner in the lounge, regular oven fridge freezer, microwave. We have direct access to local bridleways, cycle ways and off road cycling. Lots of moorland directly behind the property for walking.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. IMPORTANT NOTE: The hot tub and sauna are available for an additional £75. This fee covers access for 2 days and must be reserved at least 24 hours before arrival. This charming property, built in 1848, originally served as the maintenance room for horse-drawn vehicles and coaches for the nearby Manor House. It has undergone extensive renovations to blend historical charm with modern conveniences, including contemporary fixtures and super fast Virgin broadband.
