Studio with queen-sized bed, kitchen (w/fridge, dishwasher, stove, oven, toaster, Keurig), full bathroom, A/C, fireplace, W&D, TV, WiFi (w/Amazon Fire Stick). Parking for one car. Back-up generator. Within stone's throw of Hudson Malone, Outpost Pizza, Merritt Country Store, Coffee An' Donut Shop and Grapevine liquor store. Just a short stroll on the sidewalk to downtown Main Street's shops and restaurants.

Our lovely cottage is as beautiful and peaceful as the photos. With gorgeous water views, it's a wonderful place to relax, walk on the beach, cook dinner and drink wine while watching the sun set. It's cozy and unforgettable, just 90 minutes from Grand Central on Metro North. First bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom has a full-size bed. An extra-long twin in a quiet corner of the living area is both a daybed and extra accommodation. The bathroom has a shower and claw foot tub.

We are located in a safe quiet neighborhood 5-10 minutes walk from Leonardo state marina and beach, 2 miles from Atlantic Highlands with it's bustling main street and delightful harbor where you can take the Seastreak ferry to Manhattan; 15 minutes drive to Sandy Hook and the Atlantic Shore Beaches.

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. It's a short drive to our quaint town with boutiques for shopping and a wide variety of restaurants to choose from or jump on Metronorth for a train ride to the city. Finish the day with a barbeque or relax by the fire table in our cozy outdoor space.

Step back in time in this beautifully restored 1770 historic home nestled in the charming town of Setauket, New York. This unique cottage is walking distance to stores and the gem of the community, the Frank Melville Park/Bates House. A five minute drive to Stony Brook University, Setauket Harbor, West Meadow Beach/Old Field Club, Stony Brook Village/Three Village Inn, with historic attractions like the Culper Spy Ring, Avalon Park, and Port Jefferson Village.

The Cottage is a lovely space enclosed in hedges for privacy on a one acre property. I do have 3 dogs, they are kept in a separate gated area on the property. The cottage is located 3 miles from downtown Patchogue which is enjoying a renaissance. There are many restaurants and cultural activities as well as ferry access to Fire Island (Davis Park) in the warmer weather. We are also the "Gateway" to The Hamptons.

Several grocery stores and restaurants for delivery/pick up in the area. 400 MBPS Internet connection for those who need a reliable internet connection for work/movie streaming!
