Te Tiro Cottage Two & Glowworms

We have two beautiful “Pioneer-style” cottages nestled in amongst the stunning Waitomo landscape. Enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the central North Island and mountains in our two self-contained, pioneer-style cottages (sleep 4 persons). - Cottage set-up to sleep 4 people - 2 Adults and 2 children - 2 Couple (Cozy) The price is for a up to 4 guests. Our place is great for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). We are a 15-20 minute drive past the Waitomo Village so it pays to eat before you come up or bring supplies with you. There is a two element cook top and a microwave. The cottage is one room with a queen bed down and a small loft above that has two single mattresses in it. Cosy but cute. Each cottage has its own bathroom about 8 steps from the cottage. We would love you to come and share our little piece of paradise. The accommodation is nestled within a bush setting on top of a hill where you can see out over the whole central north Island. You even have your own grotto only meters from your door where you can sit quietly surrounded by a galaxy of Glow-worms. Enjoy the starry nights and peace and quiet of the country. You are more them welcome to wander around the farmland and enjoy the fantastic views, check out the Dab Chick Pond and beautiful native bush. Amazing views/Glowworms/Native bush/Caves/Black Water Rafting. If we are not going to be home there is still family around to help out if needed. Check in is from 3pm/ check out at 10am.

Irene's Country Retreat- near ( Waitomo Caves)

BED & BREAKFAST Relax and unwind to the sound of birds in the trees, sheep moving through the paddocks and a little family of Quail strolling by every now and again while breathing in the fresh country air. We are located 11 minutes to Otorohanga where you will find numerous Cafes, Restaurants and eating places. Also the Kiwi House is worth a look along with the Sir Edmund Hilary walkway. Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, Black Water Rafting and the Ruakuri Bush Walk is a short 20 minute drive away.

Cozy cottage, close to Waitomo caves

Please read through listing details before booking! Private cottage separate from the house.Good size bathroom with great pressure shower. You be greeted by our famous sheep Steve The Sheep. You can follow him on FB and Instragram. We also got 2 cats and chickens and a pet rabbit. All our animals are friendly. Our place is only 17km/ 15min drive from Waitomo caves. 10 min walking distance to centre of town. 2hr to Tongariro crossing, 1.5 hrs to Taupo. 2.5hrs to Auckland.

Rural life

Fully self-contained with own kitchenette and bathroom. This is the end attached bedroom of our family home, with own separate entry via lock box. Rural lifestyle but only 5 minutes from town. We have a host of animals to check out - friendly family dog, pony, donkeys, cows and chickens. Relax and unwind in your air-conditioned room, by the pool or in the spa - the choice is yours. Close to Waitomo Caves, good stop off on way to Mt Ruapehu and 45 mins from Hamilton.

We are situated only 200m from the Main Street of otorohanga and an easy 15min drive to the popular Waitomo caves. Accommodation is a single room situated approximately 15m from main house with a parking area right by unit and offers everything you will need for a comfortable nights stay. Continental breakfast is provided. Also available if required we have a pull out single bed which would be more suited for a child.

The Silk Tree Studio (Nr. Waitomo Caves)

Time to relax in a peaceful quiet location with beautiful views. A very spacious self-contained studio, set amongst gardens of the main house with young dairy stock all around. Light breakfast included, Toast, Spreads, Yogurt, Orange Juice, Fresh Milk, and Cereals. Sit in your private spa pool after a busy day and watch the sun go down and the stars in the evening, they are so clear.
