Sundari Retreat

Serene and welcoming,Sundari Retreat was built in 2008 and is close to all amenities in Otaki. My home is bordering a very pretty farm and is sunny and private. Sundari is a self contained cottage on my property and is decorated in Balinese style with a bamboo ceiling and solid timber floors. The furnishings and artwork are also Indonesian as is the sub-tropical garden and deck area. Two minutes drive away are all the cafe's, restaurants,shops and heated swimmimg pool. You will find a boutique movie theatre in Waikanae, 15 mins drive from Otaki. 5mins walk to Skintech Beauty clinic for great massages/nails etc. 10 mins drive to Te Horo , head towards the beach and you will find Kirsty's bus stop cafe in Sims Rd. The bus is situated amid a gorgeous coastal garden. Kirsty is an ex deli owner and caterer. I guarantee you won't be able to resist her treats! Head off to the beach,walk in the bush,play golf, go mad in the outlet shops or do nothing at all! What ever you need to relax and spoil yourself, the choice is yours! Soak in the outside bath under the stars! Fabulous brick outside fireplace is also great for cosying up to under the stars. If there are 3 of you I do have a very comfortable retro caravan on the section that can be hired for an extra cost. That person would have to use the studio bathroom facilities. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate. This new two-bedroom rural retreat is ideal for a relaxing break with family/ friends. Great indoor/outdoor living with a deck and views over a family friendly lifestyle property with a separate driveway on a no-exit road. The house is energy-efficient with solar power. It is a 5-minutes to the Ōtaki township, where the Te Wananga O Raukawa campus, and the Golf Course are. The township also contains a library, supermarkets and takeaway shops. The beach and Otaki Forks is just a 10-minute drive.

Relax and enjoy your Otaki Beach holiday at Beachfront Breeze. Spend your days beachside, exploring the Kapiti Coast or taking in the superb ocean views and sunsets from the large deck . The property is fully fenced and has a sunny sheltered backyard. The living area opens directly out onto the deck. Linen is provided as well as the basic toiletries you may need for your stay. The bach has not been fully modernised but is clean and tidy and has all of the things you need for a relaxing stay.

Greenwood Cottage is a charming rural escape for up to 8 guests. Conveniently located near Ōtaki Gorge, shops, beaches, and Kapiti Coast wedding venues, this private retreat is 5 minutes to Ōtaki shops and 10 minutes to the beach. For smaller groups, our stylish new Greenwood Bungalow sleeps up to 3. Both properties can be booked together for larger parties.

Jacaranda House is a charming & comfortable 110 year old villa set in a lovely sheltered garden. Living areas, added in the 1970's, are pleasant, open and sunny. Jacaranda is attractively decorated and well-appointed with nice linen and china. Enjoy a relaxing stay all year round. In spring, delight in the cottage garden. In summer, lunch under a tree or in the potager garden. In winter, spend a cosy evening around an open log fire. A library of books, board games & petanque are available.

As well as full cooking facilities. Time it right and you can help yourself to seasonal produce from the garden and free range eggs from our lovely chooks.

It is drenched with sunshine, with an enormous deck and flat grassy area to relax and unwind. Linen and Towels provided. All brand new cooking facilities if keen, but Restaurant's & Cafes close by.

Spacious Garden Studio

A warm spacious self contained studio in a garden setting. This is a quiet place to relax in. We offer facilities for making tea/coffee, a fridge and microwave but not a full kitchen. The studio is simple and clean with a comfortable queen sized bed and a new bathroom. We are close to the main road, shops and places to eat.
