Local highlights include the Marble Mountain and Siskiyou Wilderness Areas and Wild and Scenic Rivers including Dillon Creek, Salmon River and the Klamath River. The Salmon River Outpost in the town of Somes Bar offers food, beverages and more.

This sunny, clean oasis with mountain views is in a quiet neighborhood directly adjacent the forest. It's perfect for river-goers, Kayakers, boaters, fishermen, and sunseekers. Kimtu and Big Rock beaches are minutes away. The giant porch is perfect for grilling and out door dining, and the large, fenced in back yard is pet friendly. Blankenship Farmhouse is a cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer & gas BBQ. The home sits at the end of the road with views of lush green pastures that are often filled with horses, cows, elk or hay bales. Maximum occupancy 6 persons. No animals, of any kind, allowed in the house. Hand, dish & laundry soap provided. No shampoo. We are just minutes from Redwood National Park, Prairie Creek State Park & the beach
