Onemana Oasis

We’re tucked away and nestled next to a reserve with a quick walk straight to the beach. We do live upstairs so you will hear and see us as we do our thing. We are open to pets but please check with us first as we have a little fluffy girl who is nervous with dogs. Just a 10 minute drive to Whangamata where you’ll find shops, restaurants and another amazing beach. Also close to some beautiful bush walks that will take you to secret beaches along the coast. We really do live in paradise here.

Takutai Beachfront Whangamata

Relax on the white sandy famous beachfront of Whangamata. The perfect location, only a short 1-2 min walk from the main town centre. The apartment is private, with beautiful views of the ocean, overlooking one of NZ's best surf breaks "The Bar" The apartment is perfect for a small family or 2 couples. Best spot in Whangamata: 1950's beachfront bach

Set amongst pohutukawa trees, this original 50's holiday house is located right on Whangamata beach. Enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean from the deck and huge front lawn. The famous Whenuakura (Donut Is.) is opposite as well as Hauturu Motu (Clark Is.), accessible on foot at low tide - a Kiwi rite of passage. Minutes to the local shops, bars and cafes and a short walk to the nearest convenience store. A great children's playground can be found at Island View Reserve at the end of the road.

Each site is convenated by QEII National Trust who describe Mahakirau "outstanding for it's ecology and wildlife value with brown kiwi, kaka, Hochsetetter's and Archey's frogs all present". A spacious house in a bush setting, sit back and relax, take a bush walk down to the stream on the property and star gaze at night.
