Experience our bespoke, solar powered cabin, rustic but surrounded by nature. With an outdoor bath, ( not hot tub) overlooking the river. This private area is perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with yourself. Wear covering clothing outdoors for insects 15 minutes from Hobbiton, close to Te Waihou Blue spring and Waiwere falls. Arriving at night, follow the solar lights. Dogs are welcome but no aggressive dogs. Please take your waste with you, we have don’t have bins in rural areas.

It is situated in the middle of our 120 acre cattle farm. Solar power,a walk across rolling farmland, and a STEEP AND UNEVEN 10 MINUTE HIKE UPHILL to get to the hut, offer an authentic off-grid experience. We recommend only bringing up the bare necessities. Tranquill Country Retreat in Rotorua City

Country living within city limits overlooking a small pond with views toward Mt Ngongotaha and the hills around Rotorua. This property is NOT suitable for children. It has a kitchenette, with a fridge, small gas hob and microwave, a bedroom and ensuite. The small living area opens fully on to a substantial covered deck, doubling your living space. The property is down a long ROW, tucked in behind some fruit trees and overlooking a small pond.

Local cafes and pubs are only a couple minutes drive down the hill with the CBD a 10 minute drive.
