Great for a romantic getaway or vacation. Well-appointed kitchen. Dogs allowed (2 Max, under 70 pounds-must be notified first) an additional fee of $60 per dog. No third-party bookings. At the end of a country lane, on the banks of Henry's Creek off the Chesapeake Bay and near the village of Kilmarnock, Virginia sits Creeks End Farmhouse. This charming home built in 1903 was once a working farmhouse, but now welcomes family and friends to come relax and play. Enjoy crabbing or fishing from the dock, paddling the creek out to the bay, lazing in the adirondack chairs on the wrap around deck, or napping on the screened-in porch.

We are thrilled to host guests at the newly renovated Water's Edge Cottage -- a serene oasis offering what may be the best views on the Potomac. The rural charm of St. Mary’s County is among Maryland’s best kept secrets -- 90 minutes but a world away from Washington DC (with no Bay Bridge traffic!). We are near historic Leonardtown, boasting one of Maryland’s few remaining town squares (we affectionately call it “Mayberry”).

Come down the long private drive along the pasture to the little cottage perched on the banks of the river, surrounded by large oak trees.
