Horses, Farmhouses and France. You'll find these themes woven throughout our accommodation. Extremely welcoming and charming, our first floor 950sq. Ft. space sits below the main house on the west side. . You'll find Pottery Barn linens, upscale decor and authentic barn doors that add a Wow factor. Plenty of fresh pillows and wonderful LATHER amenities. Start and end your day with coffee, then wine, on the patio under the cozy cabana with fire pit! Newly added French Camp room for summer fun!

This private suite is a slice of heaven in a woodland setting! Accessed via a flight of garden stairs, it has a private entry, dedicated street parking, a private patio, luxurious large bath with a walk-in shower for 2, large jacuzzi tub for 2, heated floors, A.C., mini fridge, toaster oven, & microwave! The bedroom features a queen-sized bed, table for two, large screen smart TV, and strong fiber optic WIFI signal. Located in a beautiful neighborhood with wonderful hikes just outside the door.

A guest suite downstairs-totally separate from upstairs w/a nice garden outside. You walk down a gravel & brick path to enter @ ground level. It is a large studio w/old growth beams & full length windows, kitchen area, bathroom w/ a jacuzzi tub. There is a Paul Bunyan California King size bed w/ steps, w/no railings. Much room to roam. The outside yard is shared space, yet, we don’t walk in front of your windows and will respect your privacy. There’s a garden & fruit trees to graze in season.

Located in an upscale quiet neighborhood in the hills above Arcata, near extensive redwood hiking trails. Unwind in our sheltered outdoor living room, with a fire pit by the pond. **Please keep voices low out of consideration for the neighbors.**

Includes bedroom (king) with french doors, living room with pullout couch, a covered deck, and cooking area (see notes). Unwind when you arrive with a good book from our library and relax on the deck overlooking the many rolling hills of our breathtaking and wild neighborhood. :)

Take some time to relax in this luxury retreat studio. Attached to our home but completely independent (joined by a shared wall), you can come and go down your own pathway and entrance. This King deluxe master studio is 3 mins walk to the river and trails. Soak in the spa bath, 'eat in' using your private kitchenette, enjoy the freshly roasted special blend of coffee provided by your host, or sit on the patio in the tranquil back garden.

Fairfax Getaway in the Redwoods

This lovely little private studio is located on the lower level of our 3-story home in a magical redwood grove in Fairfax, California. The unit has a cozy Murphy bed, kitchenette, dishwasher, and bathroom with a large shower. Enjoy a private outdoor deck and patio surrounded by redwoods. There are two sweet cats on the premises. They don’t hang out in the unit but they love to visit guests and may occasionally enter the unit.
