We live upstairs, but you will have complete privacy during your stay. This is a safe, quiet and friendly neighborhood. We have a basset hound and a cavapoo. We try to keep them quiet. They do bark when our guests first arrive but usually get used to them and pay no attention. The exception would be if the guests bring a dog.
