The Old Shop has been transformed with antiques and art into a quaint, quirky cottage from the original farm shop and is a new addition to the Schoemanskloof Retreat guest cottages on Falls Fish Farm (between Machadodorp and Nelspruit) in Mpumalanga, South Africa. Situated conveniently close to the N4, it is about a 40-minute drive to Nelspruit and a 2-hour drive to the Kruger National Park. The cottage can be reached with a normal car via a short dirt road.

Escape to Die Kajuit - a secluded stone cottage nestled at the foot of a mountain beside a flowing stream. Enjoy a private wood fired hot tub for two, breathtaking views, complete privacy and a stunning riverside braai area. Designed for couples seeking peace, comfort and a romantic escape immersed in nature. There is no WiFi or reception inside Die Kajuit. The road to the cottage is a gravel road of 4.7km that must be driven slowly and carefully.

The 'Ultimate Escape' - Silo Lodge

African Leaves Trout Lodge is regarded as an excellent fly-fishing location, is a part of the ‘Zuikerboschhoek Bewarea’ and is home to wildlife that frequents the mountain range. There is a natural waterfall and 2 km’s of natural river running through the forest on the property. There are two houses situated on the property - Oak House and Silo Lodge. We are pet friendly for up to 4 small to medium sized breed dogs, which must be well trained.

The spacious bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and a single bed. Guests can unwind under the covered patio with outdoor seating and a Weber braai. Please note that the road leading up to the farm isn't suitable for cars with low ground clearance (sport cars).
