Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

With triple aspect views of fields, there is always something to see, whether it is farmers in action, cows grazing or a kestrel hovering. Welkom op ‘de Hoogt’ in Oud Alblas, een monumentale boerderij in de Alblasserwaard. U kunt op ‘de Hoogt’ overnachten in onze b&b. Op ons terrein staat ‘Huisje op de terp’ die we hebben omgetoverd in een prachtig huisje, waar we zelf tijdens de verbouwing van de boerderij ruim twee jaar met veel plezier in gewoond hebben. ‘ Huisje op de terp’ is een 4 pers. huisje met douche, toilet, keuken en 2 slaapkamers. Ontbijt is optioneel bij te boeken.
