This beautifully-designed luxury suite sits atop a barn home to Icelandic horses & miniature donkeys, & features an outdoor hot tub, red light therapy, gourmet kitchen, & wrap-around decks. 1 mile to Beacon's Main St, 2 miles to Metro North train station & DIA: Beacon. We can host a max of 2 guests & have some dangerous features for kids so guests should be adults only.

Please note that the road heading up there is steep. A car with AWD is ideal but a sedan will make it up too!

Property backs up to Beacon's famous Fishkill Creek and abandoned railway tracks (future rail trail). Take a nature walk on the tracks to Main St, the Roundhouse and the waterfall in ~10 min. Furnished with mid-century and 18th century period furniture and art work, yet with all the modern conveniences. Uber and Lift an easy five minutes away. The ancient forest contains many Stone Age rock shelters and calendar sites.

The 1772 Lefevre Stonehouse Suite

Sit at a quaint breakfast table in this sun-filled room admiring the beautiful patio, grainy wood-plank floors, and a country decor touches. Walk outside to enjoy the free ranging chickens as you gaze at the rustic grounds of this enchanting stone-built home dating from 1772. The suite has its our private entrance, bathroom and fireplace all stocked with plenty of firewood for your stay. Fireplace can be used November-March only unless temperatures are under 40 degrees.

Our little cabin is perfect for one or two guests for short stays while visiting local family, touring the areas wineries or nature trails, or for a clean, quiet over night stop while traveling long distances. Explore the Shawangunk Wine Trail, hike Minnewaska, sip cider at Angry Orchard, visit The Walkway Over the Hudson, or sample and shop the areas diverse farm stands and breweries. There is so much to see and do in the Hudson Valley and our cabin is close to it all!
