Cozy Cape on the Cove

Our two-bedroom cape on the tidal cove is a paradise for any birdwatcher, fisherman, or kayak enthusiast. It’s not for swimming though. We are located near any destination you may want (i.e. casinos), yet far enough off the beaten path to enjoy some peace & quiet. Listen to the birds and crickets by the firepit or take out our rentable kayaks for a morning paddle. Dogs welcome too! Pet fee is $50 per stay. Maximum 2 dogs. Maximum of 3 guests. Any unauthorized guest will be charged at $50/each.

This home on the Thames River is the ultimate getaway for a family seeking relaxation and outdoor adventures. With five bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, and a comfortable living room with stunning views of the water and private beach. The master bedroom with on suite bathroom, large deck overlooking the river, with direct access to the backyard where you can lounge on the private beach, play lawn games, or take a dip in the river. Upper level has 2 cozy bedrooms – one with a queen bed and one with 2 twin beds, a spacious living area with direct lake views, and a full bathroom. Lower level has a second mini kitchen with fridge, sink, microwave and table, large living room, bathroom, and doors leading directly onto the lakeside patio. Lower level has a twin size bed in living area for extra sleeping space.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay with direct access to the lower Moodus Reservoir. The backyard leads out to the lake with a small beach area (fits approximately two lawn chairs). Sit on the patio by the fire pit and enjoy the view or grab a kayak, pedal boat, or paddleboard and enjoy your time directly on the lake.
