Our property was build about 100 years ago during the Taisho period.（74㎡、800sq) It has been extensively renovated standards of comfort, luxury and safety, as such we are a Legal Vacation Rental, you may book with confidence. 100年ほど前に建てられた金澤町家を改修し、皆さまの2番目のご自宅をイメージして建てた町家になります。昼間の喧騒から離れた朝、夕の主計町、ひがし茶屋街、浅ノ川の散策は心が癒され、昔ながらの金沢が楽しめます。

百 HAKU <100-year-old Quaint Japanese Style Villa>

HAKU is a Japanese Style Villa. You can enjoy your private time as in your home. “HAKU“ is one of the readings of the character “百” which means “hundred”. Medieval Haiku poet, Basho Matsuo likened eternal passage of time to "百代の過客", a permanent traveller. In his time, a hundred years was expressed as eternal. HAKU was originally built as a farmer’s shed about a hundred years ago. It was recently relocated and renovated for another hundred years. HAKU will welcome you as traveling companions.

Built in 1898, this Machiya house retains its quaintness and is decorated in a modern style, mixing interiors from various nationalities and eras. "Kazuemachi" is a quiet town, not crowded with tourists. Please relax in the calming atmosphere of the traditional Japanese room, unwind in the authentic ‘hinoki’ wood bathtub made of fragrant cypress.

Kusa no Niwa | 100-Year Machiya Lodge in Takayama

Kusa no Niwa is a traditional Japanese-style house with a courtyard and corridors that was built more than 130 years ago. The entire house with a size of 100 square meters will be lent privately to a single group with a maximum capacity of 6 persons. You will find a fusuma, a sliding door with a paper panel, painted by a famous Japanese Painter, which can be also found in the Taue’s House, an Important Cultural Property, located in Nyukawa Town.
