Situated one block from Town Square, Rothesay Cottage consists of the front rooms of an original 1870s home, moved from Newbury by steam tractor in 1928. The overall style is a hybrid of 1870s and 1920s Art Deco to reflect its history. Your queen room boasts a stunning period bedroom suite complete with ensuite. Your snug (cosy lounge) includes the original operational Edwardian fireplace with a modern cupboard kitchenette. The front verandah has been enclosed to create a sunroom with daybed.

Stroll down the end of the street and you’re in the historic Hepburn bathhouse and mineral springs reserve. A three minute drive and you’re in Daylesford. Moyhu is located in the King Valley and situated ideally between Milawa and Whitfield which allows easy access to both these renowned wine producing areas. We are located a 10 minute walk to Moyhu hotel and cafe and a short drive to many wineries and restaurants in the area. It is part of our home but private with your own access and fully enclosed outdoor area . The photo on the cover is two of our Goldens and one of the guests Golden so don’t worry when you get here and there are only two.

WHISTLER VINEYARD RETREAT

Set on 80acres in the heart of the Barossa Valley this private, self-contained guest wing is surrounded by vineyard and gardens. Our retreat gets you back to nature... with vineyard and scrub walks, (accompanied by at least one of our Border Collies), friendly geese, an inquisitive free-roaming peacock, hens, rescued & wild kangaroos, the occasional Koala and a myriad of birdlife. Take in the views from the verandas, sit by the campfire (during the cooler months) or relax in the hammock.

It's a totally separate and private space, air conditioned, double glazed and with its own off-street parking and access. It is within walking distance to the town centre, The Mill Complex, The Bridge Hotel and the Botanic Gardens; and just a 7 min walk up the hill from the railway station. Enjoy fabulous views to the east from the lounge, bedroom and your private balcony across the town to Leanganook.
