The Chef’s Shed - a farm stay

Situated in "cool country" Trentham, the Chef’s Shed was originally built in 1860, and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay. It has quirky living spaces, including a loft, and wide, stunning views over the land around, even from the private sauna which can be used for a modest fee. From here you can explore the region. We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes from The Falls and historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

You'll be Udder-ly amazed that this completely renovated home was once a fully functioning Dairy. Spacious yet cozy open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Vaulted timber ceilings and original steel rafters. The kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher, oven and coffee machine. Wander through the trees to our handcrafted Shack, lovingly built from recycled materials, with breathtaking panoramic views over our regenerative farm to the mountains beyond. Inside snuggle by the wood heater, outside relax on a hand hewn red gum deck with built-in bath, outdoor shower. The outhouse provides views across the wetlands and its wildlife! Gariwerd walks are a 10 minute stroll away, as is good coffee, the local brewery and the eateries of Halls Gap. Come and connect!

The Hut

The Hut is a great little Studio Cabin set less than 60 metres from a quiet stretch of the Murray River. The Hut is a modern self contained well appointed cabin, the perfect place to relax and unwind. Just 10 minutes drive from Mathoura, 40 minutes to the bustling tourist hubs of Echuca/Moama, 30 minutes to the Ute Muster Capital, Deniliquin and 2 kms from the amazing Timbercutter cafe bar function venue. The Hut is surrounded by nature, expect kangaroos and birdlife at your door.
