If you've ever wanted to experience living in a tiny home while fishing from the backyard come stay here! The second bedroom is a beautiful loft in this 6 year old 900 sq ft lakefront retreat. Cute Athens is only 5 miles away, and Canton's First Monday is 30 miles away. After a fun day of fishing, kayaking, SUP races, swimming in the lake, pedal boating, feeding the ducks, cornhole, or frisbee throwing enjoy a gorgeous east TX sunset with your favorite beverage and then a fire with s'mores.

Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

We have a wonderful 5th wheel to stay in during your visit to the area. We are located between Canton TX (for 1st Monday) and Athens TX(Texas Freshwater Fishery, etc.) The Oak Castle Winery is only a few miles away. The 5th wheel is close to us in a quiet neighborhood. It has great air-conditioning, heat, is clean and can sleep up to 6 people. We provide clean sheets, towels, a coffee maker, coffee and fresh eggs. Anything else you need is only a knock on the door away. Please Come see us.

Just minutes from LAKE ATHENS - rare opportunity to experience actual RANCH living on this 30 acre miniature horse ranch. You will be close to Canton (First Monday) 25 miles, Tyler-45 miles, Cedar Creek Lake -10 miles, or Dallas -60 miles. We are located in a quiet rural area with cows, horses, and birds for neighbors. Come stay awhile and listen to the sounds of the country and soak in the beautiful pastoral scenes.-
