Welcome to our Scandinavian timber-cladded cabin situated in a quiet rural setting only 6km from Athenry town with its medieval castle, cosy pubs, good restaurants, and shops. Athenry has rail/bus connections with Dublin, Limerick and Galway City. An ideal spot from which to plan your excursions: head west to Galway City (23km); or southwest via Kinvara (24km) to the Burren (43km); and then to the Cliffs of Moher (70km). Or, go east to Loughrea (19km) where there's safe summer lake swimming.

The Lodge Mountain View Log Cabin Attymass Ballina

The Lodge Mountainview is a short scenic trip off the Wild Atlantic Way, This brand new log cabin is situated at the foot of the Ox Mountains in the village of Attymass which is a place of mountains and lakes and breath taking scenery. There is a newly opened loop walk which passes Ballymore lake with breath taking views, for the more experienced walker The Foxford way has amazing views and goes along the Ox Mountains. If its cycling why not bring your bikes/bike for a trek around the area.

It is located a stones throw from the lovely old fishing village of ballyvaughan, that was once the heart of Clare and is now part of the Wild Atlantic Way. Spend a day in the sun on one of many beaches nearby or visit the stunning Burren and its fabulous attractions, such as Aillwee Cave and Birds of Prey Centre, Doolin Cave, Caherconnell Fort and the majestic Cliffs of Moher. Fanore beach is 2 miles away and 1.5 miles to village with pub, restaurant and shop. 14 miles to world famous Cliffs of Moher and 8 miles to Doolin village and Aran Island ferry.
