Welcome to the Shearers Cottage. Awaken your senses as you soak up this modern country cottage in Grattai near Mudgee. Our farm is home to our two ponies, three dogs as well as a range of local wildlife. Just 15 minutes from the heart of Mudgee, as you drive through the gate you will start to unwind. It’s a perfect base for you to explore the Mudgee region, then come back and enjoy the local produce you bought along the way whilst watching the sun setting from the deck.

Mudgee Explorer Lodge

Spacious group accommodation for 12 to 14 people. There are six bedrooms, three bathrooms, two kitchens, two loungerooms, a dining room and games area. Each of our six guest bedrooms can be made up with either two single beds, or one king bed. Please let us know when booking, which setup you prefer. There is a public pool in walking distance from the lodge, open 7 days a week from September to April. We're owned and run by Mudgee Wine Explorer Tours.

Tariff for Carla's Cottage $240.00/use of one bedroom/night, and $420/night for "whole of house", eg two couples. There is a surcharge of:- $90.00/adult/night $25.00/pet/night plus AirBnB's booking fee Long weekends and special event weekends in Hill End have a two night minimum.
